C++ Game Developer

We are looking for a C++ Game Developer that has the exceptional ability to bring amazing ideas and new features to the well known “Rayman Adventures” game (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pRjXVjmb9nw&ab_channel=Ubisoft).

A part of the famous and core franchise of a platformer genre.

Playwing, owned by the founders of Ubisoft, is an Independent Game Developer and Publisher with a lot of passion for video games. One of our main goals is to improve the gaming experience for players and to create new immersive game worlds.

What are you working on?

• The name of the project(s): “Rayman Adventures”
• Platforms: Mobile

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

— Project refactoring including reviewing technical design, task estimation, new features implementation and debugging;

— Manage software availability, latency, scalability and efficiency.

What kind of professional are we looking for?

— 2+ years experience with C++ development;

— Ability to write code in a multi-threaded/multi-CPU environment;

— Knowledge of code optimization techniques;

— Hands-on experience with Game development, and preferably with C++ based game engines (Cocos2d, Unreal Engine, etc.);

— Ability to analyze complex code and find non-trivial solutions;

— Good command of spoken and written English language.

Got these? Even better:

— Experience with the Unity game engine is a plus;

— Experience in Lua is welcomed;

— Experience in Python is welcomed.
