Studio Director & Producer

Values Value, a recruiting company with expertise in gamedev, is looking for an experienced Studio Director & Producer for one of our clients, an international game developer with HQ in Istanbul. The company was founded by gamers who wanted to devote their minds and souls to something big, innovative, and fun. Their games are driven by narrative or art and designed with innovative gameplay elements that would feel familiar but also so new. 

As Studio Director & Producer you will ensure an effective production process according to the overall focus of the company, vision and goals of the projects.

Project team – 28 people

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

• Manage the development project team and maintain the overall focus and vision of the project

• Motivate and provide support to your team, contributing to a positive work environment

• Facilitate communication, organization, and process improvements across disciplines

• Work with cross-discipline teams to craft and steward roadmaps and schedules

• Own the day-to-day planning, tasking, and tracking of multiple features

• Drive the creation, estimation, and tracking of epics, tasks, sub-tasks, and bugs

• Triage, assign, and ensure the resolution of the inflow of bugs to your team

• Proactively identify roadblocks or projects risks and provide mitigation strategies

• Communicate status, risks, and opportunities with production and team leadership

• Help make decisions with team leads on workflows, pipelines, priorities, and resources

• Collaborate with team leadership to maintain alignment and drive project goals forward

What kind of professional are we looking for?

• Fluency in English 

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a production/development environment

• Strong understanding of software development and project management processes and practices.

• Strong ability to work with various producers, developers and testers across multiple studios and projects.

• Experience working with distributed teams and facilitating effective virtual and in-person meetings.

• Familiarity with Agile Development methodologies.

Ideally, you have at least 1 shipped mobile game title
